Sometimes the best option for couples intending to marry is to escape to beautiful New Zealand, by themselves, or with an intimate group of family and friends, for a low-key yet special wedding ceremony - without too much fuss and expense.
Provided you meet some very simple criteria (you are not close relatives; you are not currently married, etc) it is straightforward to arrange a New Zealand marriage license in just a matter of days. This can be done from your home country in many cases, or sometimes couples arrive in New Zealand a week before the day of their ceremony and they are easily able to complete all the paper work in that time.
I am able to provide detailed information and guidance on obtaining a New Zealand marriage license. I can advise also on venue choice, plus I am able to supply two witnesses for your ceremony (a NZ legal requirement) if you do not plan to have any guests at your ceremony.
I am based in Auckland (with stunning scenic beaches, fabulous parks, etc for your ceremony), but if you wish to be married elsewhere in New Zealand, I am happy to travel to your venue of choice, provided I am reimbursed for all expenses.
Typically I conduct an Option 3 ceremony for clients who elope - a simple, yet deeply meaningful, secular ceremony. However, if you wish to have a more personalised ceremony I will work with you via email to create either an Option 1 or an Option 2 ceremony - I have done this successfully for many overseas couples.
