MATHS TUTORING
Greetings. I have a PhD in the mathematical sciences from Harvard University. I taught at the tertiary level for 17 years, both at Harvard University and at The University of Auckland. My teaching included giving lectures, designing and teaching bridging mathematics classes, and tutoring many students.

I am highly experienced in working with people, especially at challenging times in their lives. I trained as a telephone counsellor at Lifeline, and now assist in training others. I have been a registered marriage celebrant for 10 years.
I have a particular interest in tutoring middle school girls, and my style is gentle, encouraging and patient.
I am a natural teacher, and feel passionate about enabling others to learn and grow.
I consult regularly with a current RTLB (Resource Teacher for Learning and Behaviour) on best practice in teaching.
